Parent Teacher Association Information

Parents who wish to become more actively involved in the school are invited to join the P.T.A. or to attend Parent Council meetings.

The P.T.A. meet in the school on the last Wednesday of each month and the Parent Council on the first Wednesday.

All parents and staff of John Ogilvie High School are members of the P.T.A.

The aims of the P.T.A. are:

1. to promote co-operation among parents, guardians, teachers, priests and others in all matters pertaining to the well-being of the school and its pupils;
2. to encourage the development of social activities for parents and teachers;
3. to provide a forum for the discussion of secular and religious education and welfare of the children;
4. to encourage the recognition of the views of all parents in decisions affecting the education of pupils at John Ogilvie High School.
